BIjna aan het einde van ons eerste seizoen...

We are almost at the end of our first season with Blomstring premium quality flower bulbs.

This was the great adventure of 2020. From the first idea in May on taking the perfection and passion (and special bulbous plants) of my partner beyond large-scale buyers, to actually having displays in stores and delivering the gifts to (international) buyers.

A lot happened in between: the naming was a web search, the logo and house style came from Belgrade, the gift packaging from China, the website template from Vietnam. International cooperation is a lot of fun and a bit of anxiety. Setting up the webshop was mainly putting in a lot of hours. Summer flew by and early August we were ready to start.

I am very happy with the retailers who included our new gifts in their range (including @GroeneVingersDelft, @RoodenBloemUtrecht, @BloemenboutiqueBotanicaDenHaag) and the wholesalers (@DobbeFlowers in Aalsmeer and @Meergroothandel in Naaldwijk). We will explore the world of (international) online platforms further next year, now @BOL.com did most of the work (although the 9.7 overall review score for hundreds of packages is fairly earned).

What we liked best was the direct contact with our customers, who enjoyed the quality of the flower bulbs in beautiful packaging, and soon again will enjoy beautiful flowers in spring and summer.

We are closing the shop now that Christmas is around the corner (planting is still possible as we speak, and the weather is so mild) and we are looking forward to seeing you again next year from the end of July.
