Bulb bombing and guerilla planting

With neighbours and with friends, how about a bit of bulb bombing or guerilla planting?

On roadsides, in open spaces, the rough... together you can plant groups of flower bulbs and a few months later you will be surprised, just like other passers by. What is suddenly blooming here? Opt for spring to cover the soil with purple anemones and yellow winter aconites. Or think of summer with spectaculair ornamental onions, such as the long and bright allium purple sensation, or the slightly lower but bizarre large allium schubertii. Plant them in groups and be aware of the spaces they need when blooming. Most species are perennial plants, and naturalize beautifully. Guaranteed success, spring and summer in color tones!

With the neighbors, with the student house, with friends, plant a group of bulbs outside… in a central reservation, a lawn, in the rough… so many places where after a few months everyone walks or cycles by surprise. Hey, what's suddenly blooming here? Opt for spring with ground covers such as purple anemones and yellow winter aconites. Or think of summer with spectacular ornamental onions. Such as the high bright purple bulb of the allium purple sensation, or the slightly lower but bizarre large allium schubertii. Or the lesser known allium christophii with its ball of stars. For spring and summer: go for lasagen plants. The large balls below, at about 10 cm deep, and above that the small balls at 5 cm deep. Put them in groups and take into account the space that the species needs. Guaranteed success, spring and summer in color tones. And most species naturalize beautifully, they come around every year.
