Everybody loves tulips
And specifically the botanical (=natural) tulips. Not the ones with the long stems that blow over in a Dutch wind. And not the ones whose flowers are easily damaged by the first spring showers.
No, natural Dutch tulips. But different. Like the Tulipa tarda interaction: a low double-flowered tulip that emerges with pink foliage and pink buds, then changes colour to white with yellow flowers and striped foliage. That is something different. Flowering from April, so after the anemones and winter-aconites.
And aside, that very Dutch tulip originally came from Turkey.
