Known as Glory of the Snow since it is one of spring's early bloomers, Chionodoxa lucillae 'Alba' has multiple star-shaped, six-petaled clustered white flowers

Keeping

  • Keep dry and airy at room temperature until planting

 

Growing

  • Planting in October and November (December if no frost)

  • Sun, partial shade or shade

  • Well-drained soil

  • Plant the bulbs about 5 cm deep and about 5 cm apart, grouped in the garden or in a large pot 

 

Flowering

  • White

  • Flowering time as from March/April

  • Flowering height about 15 cm

  • Blooms every year if the crop is not removed after flowering (suitable for naturalizing)
