Keeping

  • Keep dry and airy at room temperature until planting

 

Growing

  • Planting in October and November (December if no frost)
  • Sun or partial shade
  • Well-drained soil
  • Plant the bulbs about 5 cm deep and about 5 cm apart, grouped in the garden or in a large pot 

Flowering

  • Bright purple/blue
  • Flowering time as from March/April
  • Flowering height about 15 cm
  • Blooms every year if the crop is not removed after flowering (suitable for naturalizing)
