Fritillaria meleagris bulbs are hard to keep fresh. They need to stay cool (fridge) and can be kept for max 1-2 weeks. Therefore you might consider ordering at the end of August. The bulbs will be kept in optimal condition until planting time in September. Frittelaria flowers early in spring in pink/white blocked and fully white flowers in hanging bellflowers.
