Allium schubertii (5 bulbs, size 14+), allium Purple Sensation (5 bulbs, size 14+), allium christophii (5 bulbs, size 14+), allium karataviense (5 bulbs, size 14+)

Keeping

• Keep dry and airy at room temperature until planting

Growing

• Planting in October or November. September to December also possible, if no frost yet. After planting, they need ‘winter time’
• Sun or partial shade
• Well-drained soil
• Plant the bulbs about 10 cm deep and at a minimum of the bloom width apart, grouped in the garden or in a large pot

Flowering

• Violet/pink
• Flowering time as from May/June
• Flowering height depends per type of allium included in the mix (30-100 cm high, 10-60 cm wide), all in a round shape
• The flowers are attractive to bees and bumblebees
• Enjoy the unfolding, then in full bloom. You might enjoy the flowers for half a year if you choose to use as a cut flower and dry in a vase
• Blooms every year if the crop is not removed after flowering (suitable for naturalizing)
