Keeping

  • Keep dry and airy at room temperature until planting

Growing

  • Planting in october and november (september - december if no frost)
  • Sun or partial shade
  • Well-drained soil
  • Plant the bulbs about 10 cm deep and about 10 cm apart, grouped in the garden or in a large pot

Flowering

  • Violet
  • Flowering time as from June/July
  • Flowering height about 50-60 cm, the crop is about 30 cm high
  • Blooms in spherical shape with star shaped flowers on 10 cm long stems
  • The flowers are attractive to bees and bumblebees
  • To be enjoyed in the garden or as cut flower
  • Blooms every year if the crop is not removed after flowering (suitable for naturalizing)
